We retain public information from these comments including the account handle/username, contact details provided in the submission or comment and the general information included in the comment or on the users profile. Media Contact forms

If you contact us on our contact us page on our site, we will respond to the email address that you contacted us with. We will retain the contact details you provided us for future communications regarding your inquiry. This will NOT subscribe you to any newsletters, and we will NOT share your details or information with any third parties.

Cookies are used throughout our website to track the success of our paid traffic from Meta platforms, Google and other sources. This allows us to see specific analytics and find out how people are using our website. This allows us to make informed decisions regarding paid ads, platform use and more.

We do not share this information outside of our company or to any third parties.

Booking

When booking online with our third party online booking system (Square) the information provided is kept on record with us indefinitely to use to contact you directly. Square also retains the details provided to better serve you when booking or paying with Square in the future. We (Micro Hair Clinic) are not responsible for data submitted to or held by our third party booking system (Square) and any data concerns or issues should be addressed with them directly.

We do not share information with third parties, however we do place Meta platforms and/or Google pixels so that we can track the performance of our paid advertising. This does not give us any personal information, but allows us to make informed decisions based on the general trends and performance of our site. Data shared through our third party booking system (Square) is subject to the privacy policy on the Square platform and websites.

- How long we retain your personal information

If you leave a comment or review, the text and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow up automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For people that register on our site or through our email subscription, we also keep the personal data given in the submission form indefinitely.

To remove contact information or unsubscribe from our mailing list please reach out directly to MHC.

Website admin can also view and update those details.

- What rights you have over your data

If you have submitted any forms or provided us with any personal or contact information you may request to obtain an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any private information we hold about you electronically.

This excludes any information we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

A hard copy of your client information must be retained for legal purposes. This includes medical information, a phone number, legal name and date of birth. As a medical service we are legally bound to retain this information on file for up to 20 years from your last service date.
